‘Somos Fuerza’, the third album of Los Aguas Aguas

After a difficult stage marked by the health pandemic Covid-19 and despite the vicisitudes of being and independent band, Los Aguas Aguas reinvent themselves with the release of ‘Somos Fuerza’, their third record production.

The iconic band from Xalapa, with more than 15 years of experience, continues to be more than valid in the public´s taste with this new material in which they explore other styles that range from Rap and Hip Hop to Jazz and Bolero, but always maintaining their essence of Cumbia and Reggae.

‘Somos Fuerza’ has 12 songs and a bonus track whose production was long but satisfactory, since ‘it summarizes in a way, the work and resilience that it has meant for us, the eleven members, to continue in the music industry as an independant band’, says José Arturo González Huesca – a.k.a. Pepe-, member, producer and musical director.

Since last Friday October 7th, their single ‘Contigo’ was released, which is the cover letter of the new album by Los Aguas Aguas, which has the collaboration of famous artists such as Ely Guerra, Dr. Shenka (vocalist of Panteón Rococó), the Pop duo Daniel Me Estás Matando, the rappers Stilo and Bipo Montana, as well as the ‘indie’ singer Jósean Log and Los Chocklos, these last ones also from Veracruz.

The Xalapeños (members from Xalapa) will officially present this October 22th ‘Somos Fuerza’ in the Lunarium of the National Auditorium of Mexico City, accompanied by a promotional tour in various media departments in the capital of the country.

Likewise, the band will present the material at the Boca Forum in the Veracruz-Boca conurbation on November 5th of this year.

Los Aguas Aguas, in the voice of their also saxophonist Pepe González Huesca, plan to realize a tour next 2023 to promote the new album, along with the dissemination of the respective videos and additional material.
